About Me

Hey there! My name is Mihajlo, but everyone I know calls me Mixer. I have been playing guitars and bass guitars for 15+ years (my current sweetheart is Fender Jazz Bass). The picture below is me recording the fourth album with my band Bohemija. I am playing a P Bass, which is, unfortunately, not mine – but will be one day.

Why Guitar Tuners

I was born with a hearing impediment in my right ear. With time, I went almost completely deaf, although overall hearing in the left ear is untouched.

Either way, relying on absolute pitch was not an option for me when playing, so I have been trying out many different tuners for guitars, along with other equipment that improves the pitch and the sound in general, strings, cables, pedals, and more. I am also interested in guitar equipment that doesn’t define sound, such as bags, straps, and more.

Hopefully, some of my blogs will help you get in tune (pun intended) with your instrument and provide a better understanding of how each piece of equipment contributes to the overall tone.
